I didn't want to let fear stop me from doing something I love so I sought out a solution. When I didn't find one , I decided to make one. I'll never forget the feeling I had the first time I saw that fin coming my way, while paddling out with a hidden spear already in my hand. I wasn't afraid. I felt empowered and safe.
